Set in the forest, by a creek, What Flows Slower Than A River is an invitation into the dreamscape of art-making. A piece of childhood imagination, where bats fly and owls hunt. A large green oak has stood here for over fifty years. It is a place that keeps secrets and changes with the light. It is a place to reconcile inner realms with outer reality. The artist comes to the creek, and the creek begins to enter all imagined, inner landscapes, and so the artist returns, to bring a world of artistic conceptions back to the creek. Worlds flow back and forth.  

The painting and video concept were created by the artist in her studio, while the video was shot in the forest by a videographer.
