The hummingbird lilies are where the mountains meet the sky. They are that which we can never fully gather: the morning dew, the frosted peaks, the desert wind. They are the rise and fall of all things. The hummingbird is the beating heart, and the lilies are the sea bed of the mind, flowering in even the darkest waters.
